Jean Giannini

Jean Giannini, Head Chef of Tequila Ranch, has extensive knowledge and training in the culinary trade. She built a strong foundation with experience and discipline, sculpting her into a seasoned professional with flair and talent perfect to take on cooking for Tequila Ranch, where food and fun come together to form a complete dining experience.
Giannini served as a Captain in the United States Air Force and then in held the position of Executive Chef at the prestigious Princeton University where she cooked for student, faculty and VIP parties.
Later, Giannini once again served her country, only this time she used her culinary skills, working as Chef at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Her responsibilities included overseeing breakfast, lunch and dinner for more than 800 cadets daily.
Giannini earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Rhode Island School Design and completed numerous culinary courses at Johnson & Wales, Providence, RI.
Food and fun come together for a festive celebration at Tequila Ranch, where guests enjoy a dining and entertainment experience like no other in South Florida. With a seating capacity of nearly 400 and an indoor-outdoor setting, Tequila Ranch is the restaurant equivalent to a hacienda of the grandest scale. Special touches include fresh guacamole made tableside by a server. Doug Colasanti

Doug Colasanti has more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. His background in restaurant and club management and development has prepared him for his current role as General Manager of Tequila Ranch.
Colasanti has been responsible for overseeing the development of more than 12 properties, from the construction phase, through the hiring and training of the entire management and support staff.
In addition, for the past 20 years, Colasanti has held either the position of District Manager or Director of Operations for the companies that he has worked for, including Chi Chi’s Mexican Restaurants, Bennigans, Fridays, Houlihans, and the Hyatt Hotels. He has also owned and operated a very successful, restaurant and nightclub.
